I love the interaction these guys have and their banter, and would be delighted by a fic about them.

Focus on Rocket as a sentient person, please - explicit sex is fantastic if you want to write that, but please don't portray it as bestiality. I'd be so happy with a fic that includes something about Thor always having seen Rocket as a person and not understanding how anyone can think otherwise - aliens and different races come in all shapes and sizes after all, and Thor's been to different worlds and around a long time. Including Rocket's canonical issues with his body is fine in this sense.

If you include Thor as his larger self, no fat jokes please - have Rocket instead be supportive in his own sardonic way. Maybe Rocket actually loves it or maybe he just thinks Thor's hot whatever shape Thor is :)

I love enthusiastic consent and body positivity. I love mutual pining, getting together, first times, first kisses, switching during sex, stoic and sardonic characters being secretly besotted with each other and slowly realising the other person feels the same way - feel free to fling in as many tropes as you like. Ooh, these two would be interesting! I love love love Enemies to Lovers or Enemies to Friends to Lovers, and would adore something with lots of mutual pining and misunderstandings before a consensual get together - something set after Ragnarock and Endgame, with Hela somehow surviving, would be awesome. I'd rather that than pre or during Ragnarock please.

Reading about all the things these two would need to work out between them and how they get there would be great. No hatesex please and no noncon, although fighting that turns into sex is great.
